On Friday, October 7th at 2:00am PDT, we'll be conducting scheduled maintenance to upgrade the operating system of Abstract's servers. This maintenance will lead to a faster and more reliable experience in both the Abstract desktop and web app and will lay the groundwork for further improvements in the future.
We anticipate maintenance will take about 15 minutes in total, with the possibility of an extension to 30 minutes if we encounter issues and need to roll any changes back.
We don't anticipate any downtime during this maintenance, but there is the possibility of increased errors, which may take the form of:
- Collections not loading fully or displaying an error; - Delay in or inability to create or merge branches; - Delay in or inability to sync projects.
We'll be closely monitoring the upgrade to correct any errors or problems that arise, but as always, please reach out to the Support team if you believe you're seeing lingering issues as a result of the upgrade.
